Veterinary Technicians

Kellie

Kellie, our practice manager, is a native of Florence. She has been a technician at the clinic since 2002. Kellie has a great love of animals and family. At work, she especially enjoys phlebotomy and being the head surgical technician. Kellie’s family includes her husband, Nick, and two children, as well as her English bulldog, Pudge, and one house cat named Carrot.


Alisa

Alisa has been a technician at the clinic since January 2008. She has a bachelor’s degree in animal behavior from the University of Maryland and is certified in small animal massage. Alisa works in animal rescue and has a passion for fostering cats in need. She shares her home with seven cats: Zober, Kitty, Bumble Bee, ShoJoJi, Tubs, Talulah, and Gator. She has also made space for her dog, Mosley, and her husband, Kevin. She also is responsible for taking the famous desk dog, Woo Woo, home at night.


Anne

Anne has been a technician at Florence Animal Clinic since 2007. She graduated from Holyoke Community College in 2008 with an associate’s degree in veterinary technology and animal sciences. She then went on to obtain a PhD in 2017 from the University of Massachusetts in the field of conservation wildlife. She lives in Easthampton with her cat, Fluffy, and associated snakes and turtles. In her spare time, she teaches chemistry and biology at Holyoke Community College.


Kristi

Kristi graduated from Holyoke Community College in 2008 with an associate’s degree in veterinary technology and animal sciences. She has been a technician at the clinic since March 2011 and is currently the assistant surgery technician and the afternoon head technician. Horses have been her passion and hobby for the past seven years. She stays busy outside of the clinic by trail riding with her horse, Fantasia, and visiting different local conservation areas with friends. She lives with Arrow and Amara the German Shepherds and two cats (Cornstarch and Finna).


Nitasha

Nitasha graduated from Holyoke Community College in 2012 with an associate’s degree in veterinary technology and animal sciences. Nitasha extends her love of animals into her home life by fostering cats for many local rescues. She also has a love of house plants and enjoys crafting in her down including sewing and pyrography. Nitasha and her husband Marcos share their home with thier four cats Akasha, Mama, Lincoln, and Murphy.


Staci

Staci has been employed at the Florence Animal Clinic as a veterinary technician since May 2008. Her favorite part of working at the clinic is being part of a team that works to do everything possible for our patients’ well-being. She also enjoys maintaining the clinic’s appearance and keeping up with the maintenance on the building. She shares a home with her Boston Terrier, Gracie, her two King Charles Cavaliers, Dory and Winston, and six cats named Xander, Milo, Willow, Joan, Jett, and Gordon.
